We produced a hardback shoemaking book for I CAN MAKE SHOES to mark a decade since they opened the doors to the school. Working closely with founder Amanda Overs, I was commissioned to art direct and design this artisan book, packed full of step-by-step tutorials on shoe design, pattern making and construction. Moving away from traditional text heavy shoemaking books, we stripped back and focused the design on simple layouts to showcase the beautiful typography and photography for a visual and easy-to-follow guide.
